My wedding is just two months away and I thought of indulging into some pre-wedding skincare treatments by my dermatologist Dr. Poorva Shah. If you guys follow me on my Instagram you’d know that I was facing some acne issues and though a few products helped me with acne marks but the acne didn't stop.

One advice to all those who have any skin related issues, you should always discuss this with your dermatologist to get a permanent cure for the same. Seeing my acne scars and the active acne my doc suggested a few peels as well as a PRP session to get rid of my acne as well as to get that “wedding glow” on my big day. This treatment is loved by a lot of celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kobe Bryant, Angelina Jolie etc., and the best part is that the treatment is absolutely safe from any side-effects because your own blood is used for this procedure.

Let me take you guys through my first PRP sitting. At first, blood was drawn for the preparation of Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP). Because needling is involved in this treatment my doc applied a tropical anesthetic which was kept for about 30 mins, during this time my blood was being processed to yield the PRP.
